Franciscan Community greets new Archbishop of Hartford

HARTFORD, CT (12-16-2013) - A small group of Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist and Franciscan Brothers of the Eucharist were invited to attend the installation of The Most Reverend Leonard P. Blair as the fifth Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Hartford. Over 50 bishops, five cardinals and approximately 2,000 priests, deacons, religious men and women, and lay faithful packed the Cathedral of Saint Joseph for the 2:00 p.m. Mass and installation ceremony. A reception was held at The Aetna across the street from the Cathedral where all had an opportunity to greet Archbishop Blair.
