Three Sisters celebrate a combined 155 years of dedication

POCATELLO, ID (04-25-2015) - Three Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist celebrated jubilees of vows at a Mass held in St. Joseph Chapel. Sister Dorothy Prokes marked 70 years; Sister Janice Otis, 60 years and Sister Mary Matthew Morrisroe, 25 years. During the liturgy, the jubilarians renewed their vows of chastity, poverty and obedience into the hands of Mother Shaun Vergauwen, Mother General, who in turn, gave each jubilarian a special blessing. The community of Franciscan Sisters present also renewed their vows in solidarity with the jubilarians. A festive reception was held for all in attendance following the Mass.
