Four Sisters graduate from Holy Apostles College

MERIDEN, CT (05-03-2015) - Four Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist completed studies in theology at Holy Apostles College and Seminary, Cromwell, Connecticut and graduated on May 2, 2015. Sister Marie Benedict Elliott earned a Master of Arts in Theology with a concentration in Dogmatic Theology, after attending full-time classes at the campus this past academic year. The focus of her thesis paper was the Eucharist and the New Evangelization. Three Sisters attended on-line classes as their schedules allowed over the last few years from their centers in Idaho, Minnesota and Michigan. Sister Maria David Magbanua, Pocatello, Idaho, received a Master of Arts in Theology with a concentration in Bioethics. Sister Anna Rose Kalinowski, Duluth, Minnesota, earned earned a Master of Arts in Theology with a concentration in Sacred Scripture. Her final paper focused on developing an education curriculum for parishes through presentation of the seven Scripture readings of the Easter Vigil liturgy. Sister Maria Serra Garcia, Lowell, Michigan, was granted a Post-Masters Certificate in Theology with a concentration in Dogmatic Theology.
