Formation House addition finally begun!

MERIDEN, CT (11-24-2015) In the planning for over five years, the building of a 12-bedroom addition to the formation house, the John Lateran Center, has finally gotten underway. With more women entering the Community, living space for the novices and temporary professed has become problematic. Obtaining all the necessary permissions has been a long and arduous process, but the Community rejoices now in this hopeful new project. Follow along with the building process as we add more photos in the coming weeks.

The back yard looks empty as the shady, graceful elm tree had to be cut down. See the stump surrounded by pachysandra. The wood from the tree will be used for furniture and other items in the new addition.
