Follow the building of the new chapel in Meriden

MERIDEN, CT - On July 13, 2013, the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist and many friends gathered for a ground breaking ceremony for the new chapel. On July 24th, Bishop Paul S. Loverde celebrated the final Mass in the Chapel of St. John which will be replaced.

Follow the building process over the coming months as we add photos to the slideshow below. Keep in mind that you can select any thumbnail photo to start the slideshow from that photo onwards. We ask you to join us in prayer that the building process will go smoothly and safely in the spirit of St. Francis who was called to rebuild the Church as he took up the challenge literally in rebuilding small churches in Assisi.
