Midnight Mass celebrated in a barn holds special significance

LOWELL, MI (12-26-2013) - Each year the Lowell, Michigan Sisters spend December 24th preparing their barn for the community's Midnight Mass. Youth volunteers help the Sisters clean and decorate the barn for the special Mass. This year, in spite of freezing cold temperatures, the Sisters once again processed from the Life Process Center building to the barn with luminaries to light the way. They walked in silence, listening to the sounds of crunching fresh snow under their feet as they reflected on the great mystery of the Incarnation - Jesus' birth in a humble stable in Bethlehem.
