MERIDEN, CT - The Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist in Meriden are participating in a national Open House event with hundreds of other religious women and men on February 8, 2015, from 2 to 4 p.m. The purpose of the Open House is to invite the public to visit religious communities to learn more about the Community’s way of life.  This event will take place in convents and monasteries across the United States as the first of three public events during 2015, proclaimed by Pope Francis as the “Year of Consecrated Life.”

You are invited to meet the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist at their House of Formation, the John Lateran Center, 405 Allen Avenue, Meriden, and the Chapel of Saint John, 269 Finch Avenue, on Sunday, February 8, 2015, from 2 to 4 p.m. Refreshments will be served in the San Damiano Room of the Chiara Center on the Finch Avenue campus.
