Connecticut FSEs offer "Creation" Series viewing night
for Laudato Si Week

MERIDEN, CT (05-25-2016) - The Sisters of the Motherhouse are holding a video viewing and discussion evening, "The Wonder of Creation" to join in the international and Archdiocese of Hartford's celebration of the one year anniversary of the publication of Pope Francis' encyclical, Laudato si. Two segments of the six-segment series, "Creation" by Salt + Light Media will be shown with discussion after each segment. Sister Damien Marie Savino, FSE, Ph.D. collaborated with producer Deacon Pedro Guevara-Mann to design and publish the series of videos. The video night will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. in the San Damiano Room of the Chiara Center, 275 Finch Avenue, Meriden, CT 06451.

The evening event is open to the public and is free. Refreshments will be served. See flier for the event which you may want to share with your friends.

Sister Damien Marie will be the keynote speaker on Saturday, June 11th, at the Office of Catholic Social Justice Ministry's annual Bishop Peter Rosazza Social Justice Conference to be held at the St. Thomas Seminary in Bloomfield, Connecticut. The conference title is "Rooted in Faith - Caring for Our Common Home." This conference is the kick-off event for the Archdiocese of Hartford's celebration of Laudato Si Week.
