Franciscan Brothers of the Eucharist

The Franciscan Brothers of the Eucharist are complement to the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist. For years, three of the brothers lived in community together and practiced the spirit of the vows in their daily lives, relating closely with the Franciscan Sisters in prayer and ministry, and seeking to become Religious Brothers. On December 23, 2002, the Archdiocese of Hartford officially established the Franciscan Brothers of the Eucharist as a Public Association of the Faithful with the intention of being aggregated to the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist as the men’s branch of the order.

The Brothers live near the motherhouse of the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist in Meriden, Connecticut, and share in daily Mass and prayer with the Community.
