The Franciscan Montessori Earth School is operated by the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist and was founded in 1977. The Franciscan Montessori Earth School & Saint Francis Academy curriculum is individualized, multi-aged, and respectfully guided to match each student’s need.
The Franciscan Montessori Earth School provides students from early childhood through young adolescence the tools to acquire academic excellence, moral and spiritual development, confidence and independence for lifelong learning. Through the academic and experiential learning process developed by Maria Montessori, and influenced by the spirituality of Saint Francis and the teachings of the Catholic Church, students learn to care for and respect themselves, others and the earth.
